Two minutes, and it counts more than a signature
Email your MP.
MPs count constituent emails. A handful on one subject gets noticed; almost nobody sends them. Pick a letter below, put your own name and postcode at the bottom, and send it.
Put your postcode in the email
It is the single thing that makes the difference. An MP's office sorts post by whether the sender is a constituent, and a letter without an address can be filed as campaign mail rather than constituency casework. Both templates below end with a space for it.
Three MPs, not one
The reservoir sits almost on the boundary between Southwark and Lewisham, so the streets around it are split across three constituencies. Pick the one you live in and every letter below is re-addressed for you.
Somewhere else? The case is still worth making, and your own MP is always the one to write to. Find your MP by postcode, then copy any letter below and change the name at the top.

Copying the letter and pasting it into your own email is the most reliable route. "Open in my email app" works on most devices, but very long letters can be cut short by some mail programs, so check the text arrived in full before you send.
